Coronavirus (COVID-19) has not gone away, so it’s vital to remember the actions you can take to keep yourself and others safe. Isolation remains the most important action you can take to stop the spread of the virus.

If you have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace or NHS Wales Test, Trace, Protect via SMS text message, email or telephone and told to self-isolate, or have received notification of a positive test result, it is a legal requirement that you do so.

There is no legal duty to follow app advice, but given the risk of having and spreading the virus if you have been in contact with someone with coronavirus (COVID-19) it is crucial you isolate when advised to do so by the app to protect you and your loved ones.
