If your venue is a hospitality venue in England, there is a new poster design from March 2021. If you printed your NHS QR code poster before this date, you will have received an email on 30 or 31 March 2021 asking you to replace your existing poster:

  • The email subject is: QR Poster ready for <your venue>

  • The email was sent from qr.poster.service@notifications.service.gov.uk

  • The new poster design reflects a change in regulations for visitors when entering your venue. From 29 March 2021, all visitors are required to check in to enter hospitality venues, not just one per group. Visitors can do this by checking in with the NHS COVID-19 app, or by providing their name and contact details. Anyone who does not comply must be refused entry.

As a hospitality venue, you are legally required to display an official NHS QR code poster at your venue and make sure all individuals check in. Updated posters have been issued to make this change in regulations clear for visitors when entering your venue. Please replace your existing NHS QR code posters.

If you have not received the email with your new poster, you can apply for a new official NHS QR code poster for your venue.

Non-hospitality venues are not required to print new posters.
