If you’re self-isolating because the NHS COVID-19 app has told you that you’ve been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), and you haven’t tested positive for the virus yourself, there should be a Self-isolation button on the homescreen of the app. Click this link to take you through to advice and support available including financial support

If you cannot see the Self-isolation button, make sure your app is updated to the latest version.

The Financial Support button within the Self-isolation hub will only be visible if you’re self-isolating because the app has told you that you’ve been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus. If you later test positive yourself, the button will no longer be there. If you have tested positive, you'll be given an NHS Test and Trace Account ID which will allow you to apply for the NHS Test and Trace Support Payment.

The Financial Support button will also not be there if you’re self-isolating because you have coronavirus symptoms. If you have symptoms, you should book a test through the app.

If you are still having trouble please call 119 for support or visit NHS Test and Trace Enquiries, Feedback and Complaints (test-and-trace.nhs.uk).
