Your phone will tell you when you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus. The alert will say:

“Close contact notification. You have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19. Tap here for more details.”

The app will ask you to confirm your age and vaccination status to determine whether you should self-isolate. The majority of people will not be advised to self-isolate. If you are advised to self-isolate, a self-isolation countdown timer can help you keep track of your isolation days.
