Notifications to NHS COVID-19 app users will not mention the name of your venue. They will just tell the person that they’ve recently been to a venue where they may have come into contact with someone with coronavirus (COVID-19).

If it’s identified that people with coronavirus have been to a venue, it may be decided that anyone who was at that venue on the same date will get an alert. The alert will give public health advice, which might include monitoring symptoms or calling 119. Read more about how it's decided whether someone gets an alert.

If an alert is sent to app users who’ve visited your venue, you will be informed of this. Read more about how you will know if an alert is sent to visitors to your venue
