The NHS COVID-19 app is no longer in use and the Isle of Wight trial has now ended. This is archived information from 18 June 2020. If you still have the app, please uninstall it.

We have received a small number of messages from users informing us that they are unable to install the NHS COVID-19 app despite their mobile device having Bluetooth Low Energy and a compatible Operating System. We are working to identify and resolve specific examples of this as quickly as possible.

Our investigations have identified a technical issue with four specific models of device and we are working closely with the manufacturer to resolve this. These models are:

Galaxy J6

Galaxy J7 (2016)

Galaxy A3 (2016)

Galaxy J3 (2016)
